Bei optimalem Wettkampfwetter wurden die Bundesjugendspiele auf der Jahnkampfbahn im Stadtpark veranstaltet. In den drei Disziplinen Sprint, Weitsprung und Schlagball konnten die Schülerinnen und Schüler Punkte für ihre Urkunden sammeln. Nach dem Durchlauf durch die Disziplinen traten die schnellsten Läuferinnen und Läufer der einzelnen Jahrgänge in Sprint-Endläufen gegeneinander an. Unterstützung in der Durchführung des Sportfestes leistete das Oberstufenprofil “Sport”.
